With every plot in a novel, there’s going to be a subplot.

Probably two.

Maybe even three.

So what do you do with these subplots? Are they just random stories? Sidebars?

Not only that, but a minor character – a side character – from book one becomes the main character of book two. Then in book two you introduce another side character with a subplot, who becomes the main character in book three. The idea is that you introduce your future characters using subplot.

In this episode, Lana McAra shows how to make your subplots more vital to the story than you might have ever thought possible and roll out the character for your next novel from within your current one, making not only your current book but also its sequels #Unputdownable.
